The heartthrob actor is said to have bought the stunning Cartier bands while shopping in Los Angeles Rodeo Drive.

Sources say the pair - who fell in love while filming 'Mr and Mrs Smith' together - are now planning a romantic Buddhist-style ceremony at his plush Malibu mansion.

The nuptials - which will include an exchange of rings - will not be legally binding.
