Bra FixHow to Fix a Bra Fix By Anna Lynn C. Sibal We wear bras for different reasons. Some wear it to complement their outfit while some wear it because they were reared to the fact that it is indecent to walk around without wearing one. Others wear it because they need the support that the bra gives its wearer. Or it could be a combination of these reasons. But whatever reason we have behind our decision to wear bras, there is no reason why it should not fit us perfectly. Nonetheless, some of us are still clueless on how to pick bras and what to do in case of a bra emergency. So, what do you do if you have a bra fix? How do you fix it? Listed below are common bra problems and the best way to solve them.
Loose cups. Are the cups of your bra loose or wrinkled? It means the cups are too big for your breasts. You should go down one cup size. Spilling. Do your breasts spill out of your bra? This would mean that the cups of your bra are too small for your breasts. You can either go up one cup size or change to a bra style that covers more of your breasts. Strap marks. Do the straps bite at your shoulders? Loosening the straps a little or putting some padding would fix the problem up. A better solution would be change to a bra where the uplift of your breasts would not be too dependent on the straps. Or get strapless bra Falling straps. If the straps of your bra keep falling off your shoulders, the best way to deal with it is to tighten the straps of your bra. Or you can try wearing a different style of bra – T-back bras or razorback bras, for instance. Asymmetrical breasts. A lot of women have breasts where one is slightly bigger than the other. In this case, the cups of the bra should fit the larger breast, and the strap of the bra on the side of the smaller breast should be tightened. Better yet, have your bras custom-made. Fully endowed. Some of us are blessed with a full bosom (or cursed, depending on how you look at it). If you have large breasts, you should opt for a bra that is under-wired and allows for full coverage, and probably with wider straps. Brassieres like these would give you more comfort and provide your breasts with the support that they need. Not so endowed. Some of us are blessed with a small bosom (or cursed, depending on how you look at it). If you belong to the type with the small chest, you can make your breasts look fuller if you wear padded bras or bras that lift and create cleavage. Or consider breast implants Also see: What is Your Panty Type? |
